“Franking not Possible”

If you see the message, “Franking not Possible”, connect your Mini to the internet and perform a postage download. Set the amount to $0.00 if you don’t wish to download a postage amount.

PostBase Mini must connect to our data center at least every three days to stay active. If your machine is turned on and connected to the internet, the Mini will do this automatically.

 

How to Update PostBase Mini Firmware

1. Press Menu.
2. Then press Remote Services. Wait while the meter detects and installs the new firmware.

Common PostBase Mini Error Codes
Error Code Text Resolution
0E000001 Meter locked Perform a Zero Reset (download $0.00 postage).
000E0009 Cartridge will not move Contact Customer Service to request a meter exchange.
000E000F Ink cartridge stuck Contact Customer Service to request a meter exchange.
001C0009 Download Soon Perform a Data Upload. If not corrected, perform a Zero Reset (download $0.00 postage).
000F0003 Wrong cartridge inserted If cartridge is an authentic FP Mailing product, Item PMIC10, contact Customer Service for replacement. If cartridge is NOT the correct product, log into MyOneFP to purchase a new cartridge.

June 23rd Rate Change Information

Your PostBase mini system will automatically download the new rates when the system connects to FP. The new rates will be stored in your PostBase mailing system and will automatically activate on June 23, 2019.

The rates will download the week of June 17th.  We will update this webpage when the rates have been released and if you are on our email list, we will send you a confirmation email.

How to verify the new rates were successfully downloaded:

  1. Select the “Menu” on the PostBase touchscreen
  2. Select “Change Date”
  3.  Change Date to 06/24/2019 and Save
  4. Select “Back” to return to the Home Screen
  5. Press the rate selection area, $0.50 value on home screen
  6. Select Priority Mail within the rate wizard
  7. Select Env/Parcel
  8. Enter in a ZIP code, (first three digits only), i.e. 601
  9. The next screen should display the DIM option

*Note: After confirming the new rates were successfully downloaded, remember to change your date back to the current date.
