
PostBase mini Support
There will be a rate change on January 24, 2021. More information about the updated rates will be posted soon.
Your PostBase Mini meter is IMI compliant meaning it will connect with FP’s servers every night. During this routine connection the PostBase Mini will automatically download the new rates.
When waking up, or powering on your meter it may display the following message letting you know the new rates were obtained. If you do not see the message, please follow the steps below to verify the new rates were successfully downloaded.

*NOTE: Your meter requires an internet connection to download the new rates. If you do not see this message, please do the following.
- Ensure Ethernet cord is plugged into meter and internet source
- Perform a reboot (power meter off then back on)
- From the meter menu select “Remote Service” your meter will synchronize and download the new rates
How to verify the new rates were successfully downloaded:
(prior to January 24th, 2021)
- Select the “Menu” on the PostBase touchscreen
- Select “Change Date”
- Change Date to 1/24/2021 and Save
- Select “Back” to return to the Menu
- Use the right arrow key to navigate through the menu and select “System Information”
- Scroll down to Rate Table, the version number should display as 15.00
*Note: After confirming the new rates were successfully downloaded, remember to change your date back to the current date.

“Franking not Possible”
If you see the message, “Franking not Possible”, connect your Mini to the internet and perform a postage download. Set the amount to $0.00 if you don’t wish to download a postage amount.
PostBase Mini must connect to our data center at least every three days to stay active. If your machine is turned on and connected to the internet, the Mini will do this automatically.
How to Update PostBase Mini Firmware
1. Press Menu.
2. Then press Remote Services. Wait while the meter detects and installs the new firmware.

0E000001 | Meter locked | Perform a Zero Reset (download $0.00 postage). |
000E0009 | Cartridge will not move | Contact Customer Service. |
000E000F | Ink cartridge stuck | Contact Customer Service. |
001C0009 | Download Soon | Perform a Data Upload. If not corrected, perform a Zero Reset (download $0.00 postage). |
000F0003 | Wrong cartridge inserted | If cartridge is an authentic FP Mailing product, Item PMIC10, contact Customer Service for replacement. If cartridge is NOT the correct product, log into discoverFP to purchase a new cartridge. |
