The PRC (Postal Regulatory Commission) has approved the requested changes for postal rates. The biggest change in this rate change is the cost to send a metered letter will increase by two cents, while stamp users will see a three-cent increase. Despite this increase, postage meter users can still save money as metered mail will still save five cents per letter over stamp users. The Postal Service’s market dominant price changes were developed in light of this recent PRC ruling and are a major component of their Delivering for America 10-Year Plan. For more information about their 10-year plan, you can visit their Delivering for America webpage.
